Clodagh Design

Founded by the eponymous Clodagh in 1983, we are a multi-discipline design firm based in New York City. Our work spans over 24 countries and includes a wide range of residential, retail, healthcare and hospitality interior design projects: hotels; spas; restaurants; residential buildings; private residences; retail stores; showrooms; offices and even luxury yachts and private jets. We design and license products, from soap dishes to sofas, collaborating with many renowned brands. We also help clients with branding, packaging and art consulting services.

Taking a bespoke, holistic approach to each new project, we start with a clean palette, interrogating each proposition and challenging all assumptions. If we can’t find the right chair for your interior, we design it. We honor the essential nourishment of vibrant community and the equally vital need of quiet solitude. We believe in meaningful work and joyful play. We strive to design interiors and products that enhance the lives of the people our work touches. Sustainability to us means responsibly made, timeless, low-maintenance design that ages beautifully.

Using a toolbox of modalities from the ancient to the cutting edge, including feng shui, biophilia, chromotherapy and bio-geometry, we create experiences. Curious and restless—like Baryshnikov, we don’t try to dance better than anyone else, we only try to dance better than ourselves.
